_ RIOJA: CHILDREN FRIENDLY

One of the things I realized when I became a mom, not so long ago, was the fact that I  had no idea about where to go with a toddler and what places we could visit together with our stroller.
Nevertheless, I have to say that I’ve discovered many places and activities for families and children here at Rioja, funny not only to the smallest of the family but interesting to the parents as well.
That’s the reason why I want to share with you all this plans and nice places from Rioja you can visit if you are travelling here with your children even more if you are an architecture & wine lover as we are…
If you know any other place that I have not discover yet, I will be glad to read about…

(Harvest is coming…)

Wednesday Indulgence

Rioja landscape

Last weekend we really enjoyed our sunset bike-rides when it was not so sunny. I couldn’t help making a stop to take some pictures of the vineyards landscape; it seems to me awesome anytime of the year.

Rioja is a great place to ride on bike, I’m thinking new routes for the next weekend, I will let you know, so…

Have a nice Wednesday!

Wednesday Indulgence

“Las bicicletas son para el verano”

‘Bicycles are for Summer’ is a great play from F. Fernan Gomez, a playwright I really admire. When the sun comes and I’m ready to have a ride in the evening I always remember that play (about a Spanish family during the Civil war, not so funny).
Next weekend I hope we’ll have a ride and take nice photos like this above of Ava Gardner, she looks so happy!
This is from a book titled ‘Hollywood rides a bike’, by Steven Rea,  I just discovered last Saturday at This magazine.
Have a nice Wednesday!
